Our firm can assist with registration of your Yachts in Panama. Pleasure craft are subject to a different pricing structure from the Maritime Registry.
Registration is normally for two years initially, renewable.

The tariff is as follows:

• $1,500.00 - if owned by a foreign citizen
• $1,000.00 - if owned by a Panamanian citizen (or a Panamanian corporation)

This tariff must also be paid upon each renewal.

Documents required:

• Purchase Agreement (Bill of Sale)
• If the yacht is newly built, then a Shipbuilder’s Certificate
• Power of Attorney (to our firm)
• Deletion Certificate from previous registry (or Builder’s Certificate)
• Radio Operator documentation
• If the yacht is more than 20 years old, then it will also be required to undergo a survey and other safety requirements.
